Tomorrow I am taking a little bit of a road trip and going to TEDxLansing. TED stands for technology, entertainment and design. The original TED event started in 1984 to bring people together and is devoted to ideas worth spreading.
TEDx events are independently organized events that use the format of the original yearly conference. The 17 speakers have 18 minutes to give the best speech of their lives. Held at the Wharton Center on the beautiful Michigan State University campus (okay so I am biased), there will be everyone from a elementary particle physicist to the author of Socialnomics speaking.
