As a work at home mom, it can be difficult for me to travel to conferences. So the conferences that I do travel for have to merit the calling in of reinforcements to help out (i.e. Grandma & Grandpa). One of those conferences that is a must for me is Shareasale Think Tank.
I’ve been fortunate enough to attend their events in 2008 and 2009. I was all set to go to the one last year and a sudden stomach flu hit half my family hours before I was to get on the plane.
I love Think Tank because they are usually small events attended by a great group of affiliates and merchants. There are ample chances for sitting down and talking one on one or in small groups. I’ve picked up a lot of tips, knowledge and friends by going.
This year’s event is being held in Chicago (one of my favorite cities) and it just two weeks away. I’m excited cause I haven’t traveled for business in awhile and I am taking the train. Six hours to sit back, get a little work done, and relax a bit.
There is still time to register and it is only $50. Register, block out your calendar for May 25 to the 27th and head to Chicago. There is going to be an event hosted at the Epic Lounge and Rooftop Bar on Wednesday, really great sessions (I’m speaking at one) and meetings with merchants on Thursday, and then a sit down with Brian Littleton on Friday to let him know just what you think of Shareasale and what needs to be fixed. Plus Friday afternoon is a trip to Wrigley Field to see the Cubs play.
