Not Going to Affiliate Summit East?

Affiliate Summit East starts this Sunday and many of my friends and contacts are making their way to New York City right now. Sadly I am not going. Add together two computers dying untimely deaths this summer that need replacing and well, my plans had to change. So if you are like me and not going to Affiliate Summit East, here are some suggestions on how to make the most of it.

1) Follow the hashtag #ase10 on twitter to find updates from people talking about the conference. I just signed up on Twubs.com to make following it easier. You can either create an account or sign in with your twitter login.

2) Live Blogging. I know of at least one person live blogging from the various sessions and keynotes. Lisa Barone of Outspoken Media has provided great conference coverage in the past with a humerous twist. I’m sure this time will be no different. If you know of any others, please contact me or add a comment below and I will add it in.

3) Check out past videos. Affiliate Summit has some video coverage on their YouTube channel from previous events, including past sessions.

4) Start saving for the next one. Affiliate Summit West 2011 will be held in Las Vegas January 9-11 at the Wynn. I have stayed onsite there and the hotel is fabulous. It will make a for a 1st class Summit experience for sure and I really don’t want to miss it.
